Eric Sings At Taste of Chicago in Millennium Park!

Travel Day

     The few months before we were scheduled to leave, we got all of Sophie's stuff  washed and organized for life on the road.   On June 27th at 6am, we packed up our new car and headed for Chicago.  My mom helped us with the drive and packing and our friend Michael Walker came over at 6 a.m. to help us load up and get out.  It was supposed to take 13 hours and even with all Mommy's pee stops, it took us about 17.   We hit a little snag at the Indiana/Illiinois border, where they have replaced people with machines and  the machines were rebelling.  It seriously took us about 2hrs to get through that line.   Not too bad for traveling with a majorly pregnant lady.  We we're just praying that we didn't have her on the side of the road.  Here is a picture of how swollen my feet were on our trip to Chicago.  I don't know if they will ever be normal again.
   Eric's parents met us in Chicago the next day and are going to stay with us though the Chicago engagement.  My mom is going to stay until the baby comes and then a week or so after to help out.  So exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
