Saint Stephanie and the BCS National Championship Game.

Being in  Tempe on the Monday of the Tostitos Bowl, BCS Championship Game, Eric was given 2 tickets to the game.  These tickets are super expensive and we would never be able to pay that much $ to go to a football game, so we were really looking forward to this night.  The game was Auburn vs. Oregon.  We were able to go because Eric's cousin, Stephanie Gibbs, lives in Tempe, and she and her husband offered to babysit Sophie.  We had brunch with them earlier in the week and they loved on her so much, that I felt safe leaving her with them.  She's a school teacher and he's an engineer, so I felt that there was some level of responsibility you could assume they had.  So, if you've been keeping up on the blog, you understand how difficult our laundry situation can be.  Especially these weeks that we are in hotels that would like to charge you $5 a shirt or have you go off-site to a laundromat.  Well, with no insight to our laundry dilemma, Stephanie asked us to bring our laundry to her, when we brought Sophie, so that she could do it for us.  What?!!  Not only that, but they came and picked us up, sat for Sophie, did our laundry, let us borrow they're car to go to the game and then drove us back to the hotel afterwards.  All of this was upon their idea, when they found out we had tickets.  Kindnesses like this are few and far between and we were so grateful it fell on us.  We will definitely be paying it forward.  They game was a super close one...neck and neck...to the end...with Auburn clinching the title.  It was a great game and we had a ton of fun.  We missed our little girl though and were very glad to get her back:)
